Well, for the sake of being truthful, my legs are beat up for one reason and one reason only. Two weekends back, I decided to take advantage of my new apartment by the beach by cruising down the boardwalk by bike to the Yardhouse with a few pals. One. Two. Three Beers later, and I'm face down on the pavement. Did I mention I took my friend down with me? For what it's worth, I hadn't jumped on a bike in a few years, but I have beat up legs to show for it. Kids, don't drink and ride. Apparently, I thought the tumble was just the most comical thing ever.

I'm about half way moved into my new place, and I didn't realize how heavy of a workload it can be. I mean, a girl has to buy everything from scratch. I'll get there, but I would be lying if I said I didn't have my fair share of evenings crying while at a standstill. But hey, if I can survive the bloodshed by the beach, I can put together my place.

Apart from the blazer, I'm wearing pieces from two killer companies today. The first (on my wrist) being my dear friend at Lili Claspe who has quickly become one of my favorite jewelry designers, and one of the sweetest gal pals around. The second is a new friend of mine, StoneRush who has a combination of layering and statement gems. 

On another note, I'm terribly emotional this month because my best friend and photographer has moved to New York for 4 months to work on our PacSun SoHo Pop- Up Show opening this Memorial Day Weekend. Over the next few months, I'll be working with new photographers, so stay tuned for a slight change!

This post was collecting an inch of dust, so I decided to release it although I've change slightly since these photos. On the radar for today is furnishing my new place. I picked up the key to my first apartment by myself, and I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't intimidated. My to-do list is growing at a rapid pace and I'm finding it difficult to keep up...but I will. Wish me luck!

I came to the realization after looking through these photos, that I may as well be the fourth member of TLC's No Scrubs video. As for a quick explanation for my absence over the past few weeks, well...I was in Paris, The Netherlands, Berlin, Mexico, Northern California and what will soon be Indio, CA for Coachella. I had an incredibly month with endless stories to tell, so keep in touch for details in my next post! Hope to see you all rolling around in the desert sand this weekend.

I'm still determined to find a new apartment and time is not being kind to me. With two weeks before I book it to Paris, I'm left with only two short weekends to scatter the city in search of my perfect place. I may be forced to settle for a few imperfections in a home. In other news, I'm hitting the salon in hopes of reaching my long awaited hair destination point. If all goes well, my blonde will be much lighter. Not incredibly white, but more white than yellow. I think it may be time to snip a few inches as well. I've had a craving for short locks lately, and I just may satisfy it. I hope you all are enjoying yourselves!
